What you don’t get is a
guarantee you’re going to win your fantasy league. Winning depends
partly on the draft, but it also depends on scouring the waiver
wire, knowing when to pick up the hot player and drop the high draft
pick, playing the correct players each scoring period, and, finally,
a lot of luck.
What is required to run the Fantasy Ranker?
The only requirement is
a personal computer with Microsoft Excel. The Fantasy Ranker is an
Excel based computer program. The most current version uses Excel
2007 and makes use of improved formatting and programming language,
resulting in the best use of organization and color for your draft
rankings. Those with Excel 2003 or earlier, will need to purchase
the 1997-2003 version, which contains the same information
with some limitation in its formatting. At this time, we do not have a
separate Mac version of this application.
The program makes use of macros in Microsoft Excel. These macros are
a collection of simple, automated tasks that allow you to sort your
rankings with a click of a button. If you want to use these macros,
you will have to change the security settings on your version of
Excel. Changing the settings will allow you to accept macros created
by Ranker Sports LLC. If you choose not to change the macro
settings, you can still use the Fantasy Ranker, but will have to
sort your rankings manually. For more information see the
Instruction Sheet for your version of the Fantasy Ranker.
